How we use Drones

Various drone models are used by the Danville Life Saving Crew in search and rescue, scene assesment, disaster response, and training simulations.

Drones empower EMTs with faster, safer, and smarter emergency response capabilities. In search and rescue operations, drones with thermal imaging can quickly locate victims in challenging environments. They also provide real-time aerial views of accident scenes or disaster zones, helping assess risks and guide safe team deployment. In large-scale emergencies, drones map affected areas and monitor hazards, while also serving as valuable tools in EMS training and simulation, improving preparedness and response strategies.
