Crew Member Aids Fawn

Danville Life Saving Crew members are known for running emergency calls and saving lives on a daily basis. Even though they are busy responding to wrecks or transporting sick patients to the hospital, members also make time to rescue animals in need.

EMT Charlotte Newman saw a fawn in need of help and pulled over to help it cross the road. After its mother scurried across Memorial Drive, the timid fawn seemed lost and couldn't jump over the guardrail that its mother skipped over.

Charlotte helped the fawn safely cross the road and get over the guardrail so it could follow its mother. Nice job, Charlotte!
