Citizen Volunteers may apply for this role based on their area(s) of interest. These members may volunteer for office support, fundraising, vehicle maintenance, building upkeep, logistics, and supply. Members will fulfill the training and participations requirement of their specific area.

Citizen Volunteers Guidelines

• Will apply by application to the Business Office and will be approved by the Citizen Volunteer Committee.
• Will be under the guidance of the Business Office and the Citizen Volunteer Committee.
• Will abide by the bylaws of the Danville Life Saving and any guidelines set forth by the Business Office and the Citizen Volunteer Committee.
• May serve on crew committees as appointed by the Chief, but never as chair or co-chair.
• Citizen volunteers will serve in administration and support of the crew and will not be involved in running calls and patient care.
