
annual "Golf Classic" at the prestigious Danville Golf Club in Danville, Virginia. This tournament will serve as the "Crew's" primary fundraiser with proceeds going to the operational budget of this "all volunteer" organization.
The Danville Life Saving Crew will be offering an accelerated EMT-B class that will run from May until July. This fast paced class will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and selected weekend dates. The cost for the class is $ 125.00. Tuition assistance may be available to persons who volunteer with the crew.

To obtain Life Member status, one must have been actively running calls and volunteering time and service for a minimum of ten years. We salute all the members listed below for over 1000 years of service to the Danville Life Saving Crew and our community.
The junior members of the Danville Life Saving Crew grow as an individual while working as a team with regular crew members to provide medical services to the community. The junior members are 14 to 17 years old that are willing to volunteer their time to help others and attend training classes. They have the opportunity to receive certification in CPR. Additionally, at the age of 16, junior members can become a state Emergency Medical Technician and assist with patient care while running calls with the DLSC.
